Website terms

Terms for using this website

These terms describe the site as built at launch.

Who publishes this site

This website is published by Ali Ahmad, trading under the provisional working name AlloyPath. AlloyPath Systems is a working trading name. It is not a registered company name and no trademark clearance has been carried out. There is no registered company entity at present, and nothing on this site should be read as implying one.

What this site is

It describes services that are offered, how engagements are structured, and the practices followed when building them. It is informational. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a commitment to perform work.

No engagement is created here

Submitting the contact form, receiving a reply, or having a workflow review does not create a contract. Paid work begins only under a separate written agreement that sets out scope, fees, assumptions, exclusions and acceptance criteria. Where anything on this site differs from that agreement, the agreement governs.

Accuracy of what is published

The content here is written to be accurate and is deliberately conservative: no client results, savings, accuracy figures, certifications or partnerships are claimed anywhere on this site, because none exist. Descriptions of what automation can achieve are possibilities to be assessed against your systems, not predictions of outcome. Whether any workflow can be automated safely and economically is established by a paid assessment, and an assessment can conclude that it should not be attempted.

The interactive demonstration

The RFQ demonstration runs deterministic rules in your browser on invented data. Every company, person, part number and document in it is fictional. It illustrates workflow and interface design only. It does not demonstrate extraction accuracy on real documents, compatibility with any particular system, or production reliability, and its output must not be relied on for any commercial decision.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to this site or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Do not use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages, malicious content or automated submissions.
  • Do not submit export-controlled technical data, controlled unclassified information, CMMC-scoped material, or documents covered by a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Do not scrape or reproduce the content of this site as your own.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, code and demonstration logic on this site belong to Ali Ahmad, except for the open-source software and fonts used to build it, which remain under their own licences. Ownership of work produced during a client engagement is dealt with in the engagement agreement: the intention, stated throughout this site, is that the client owns the code, accounts, configuration and documentation delivered to them.

Availability

This site is provided as it is, with no commitment that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. It may change or be taken down at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for loss arising from reliance on information published on this website. Liability relating to paid work is dealt with in the engagement agreement for that work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
